One of Iceland`s most exiting travelling routes back to back around 300 km long goes between Reykjavik and Central Iceland also called "The Golden Circle".
The Golden Circle in Iceland is a popular sightseeing route in southern Iceland easily accessible from Reykjavik.

Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is historically significant and geologically fascinating. It was the site of Iceland's first parliament, Alþingi, established in 930 AD.
The Geysir Geothermal Area is located in the Haukadalur Valley and is home to several hot springs and geysers. The most famous geyser, Geysir itself, is now more or less inactive; the surrounding area is geothermically very active with many smaller hot springs.
The other geyser, Strokkur, erupts every 5-10 minutes, shooting boiling water up to 20 meters high.
Another big attraction is Gullfoss waterfall, which means "Golden Falls." It is one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. It features a two-tiered cascade that plunges into a deep canyon, creating a stunning visual spectacle.
